The parade will begin at Arthur Drive and St.

Mary’s Street, takes a brief route to Parkview Dr. where it takes a right and travels all the way down and concludes at North Goodrich Park.

Hosting a Christmas parade in my community was a long-held aspiration, a notion that seemed more fantasy than reality. I mean, where do you even begin to make it happen? Last night marked the third annual event! Witnessing individuals make a considerable effort to decorate and illuminate themselves, vehicles, trailers, and semi-trucks solely for the joy it brings others is truly heartwarming. Seeing people venture out of their cozy homes and into the city streets to appreciate and enjoy this spectacle is a profoundly moving experience that brings me to tears. I am deeply grateful for our community. I extend my sincerest gratitude to the Open Doors Foundation for believing in the value of a Christmas parade in Milton and for their unwavering support in making this vision a reality. Without their backing, this event would not be possible. And thank you to the City of Milton, Police & Fire Department, everyone who attended, and those who contributed to the Christmas cheer!
Milton is pretty wonderful.

The Lighted Christmas Parade Route will take place on Friday, December 5, beginning at 7:00 p.m. Road closures will go into effect approximately 30 minutes prior to the start of the parade.

It will begin at the intersection of E. St. Mary St. and Arthur Dr., continue west to Parkview Dr., turn right (north) on Parkview Dr. and end at North Goodrich Park.

The streets were aglow as the holiday lights shone down.
The floats sparkled brightly, the music danced in the air,
For the Lighted Christmas Parade, a magical affair!
But who would decide which float shone the most bright?
Who’d crown the grand winner on this sparkling night?
Why, three joyful young judges with hearts full of cheer—
Let’s give them a warm welcome, the moment is near!

✨ Meet Our 2025 Christmas Parade Judges!
We’re thrilled to welcome Kalli Woodhouse, Alli Cotgrave, and Julie Marquardt as judges for this year’s parade! Each brings her own holiday spirit and a love for our community.

Meet Kalli Woodhouse – Kalli brings both holiday cheer and hometown charm! Her favorite Christmas tradition is one she’s kept since childhood—visiting William’s Christmas Tree Farm in Rockton, Illinois, to cut down a fresh tree with her family. A tradition she still treasures today. She fondly remembers going as a little girl, perched on her dad’s shoulders, searching for just the right tree.
Outside the holidays, Kalli enjoys houseplants, traveling, concerts, and trying new experiences. She works at Auxiant, a third-party administrator for self-funded PPO plans, where she’s been part of the team since September 2023.

Meet Alli Cotgrave – Alli is a true bringer of holiday cheer! With a warm heart and festive smile, she’s ready to enjoy all the wonder this year’s parade has to offer. Alli spends her days happily navigating the joyful chaos of raising her little ones and greeting familiar faces at the Stagecoach Inn, where she works. When it’s time to relax, you’ll find her cozied up with her favorite holiday baking shows — Holiday Baking Championship and The Great British Baking Show: Holiday Edition.

Meet Julie Marquardt – Julie spreads holiday cheer wherever she goes! She works as the Museum Education Coordinator at the Milton House Museum, sharing her love of history and community with visitors of all ages. When she’s not bringing history to life, Julie enjoys making lefse and watching the classic White Christmas.

Make sure to stop by on the night of the parade and say hi! They will be located near the splash pad.
