It was brought to my attention (Jamie Wells) in the last few days that some have wondered if DOFFL is still active even though I have some extended vacations planned this summer and have been traveling extensively.
First let me address that my travels are both for personal time and self care along with continuing connections and extending our reach to areas and plans to offer opportunities abroad.
Secondly I myself Jamie Wells may be the Founder and face at times for DOFFL that people see most HOWEVER, I am one person and an organization can’t thrive off one alone. I have a very extensive network and board members to include Kieu Vo Wells, Madrina Ciano, Ricki McWilliams, Brian Hughes, Tammy Diehl, Eric Schafer and a few mentors, that are quite capable of running the organization in my absence and do at times.
Leadership isn’t having the most people following you, or how many your “in charge of” it’s who leaves the most leaders and can put together teams of leaders to cover a wide spectrum of issues and resources. I pride myself in having a team like that!
I hope that clarifies any questions, rumor mills, or minor jealousies anyone may have. DOFFL isn’t surviving we’re Thriving and on course for 2026 to be our biggest year of helping and earnings to date.
Just because we don’t post every time we deliver for a veteran we certainly are very active in the community and expanding our reach and network daily.

Lastly thank you for the women and men of DOFFL who do make a difference and only make us stronger!
