Milton Girls Softball is an independent, non-profit organization committed to providing all girls with an experience that fosters positive self-esteem, team spirit and individual growth through personal achievement and team play. Our goal is for each player to have fun while gaining knowledge of the game. We strive to create and maintain an environment of teamwork, honesty and fair play with a sec

ondary importance placed on winning. LEAGUE GOALS
- Teach each girl the fundamentals of the game.

- Encourage development and good sportsmanship of all players through participation in a team environment.

- For the players to have fun, make new friends, and grow as a member of a team.

- To help players become physically fit and to value fitness in their lives.

- Win enough games to feel good about the team and the season. The league will make every effort to create balanced teams, allowing for the highest level of fair competition within each grade and ensuring that players feel good about their team and the season.

- To encourage continued participation by building a passion for the sport of softball. We strive to help coaches and parents focus on making the experience of practices and games fun, while helping the girls develop and mature as player and as people. Together, we all must demonstrate how to win with grace and lose with dignity.

📣 COACHES VS. SENIORS: THE ULTIMATE SHOWDOWN!

Join us to celebrate our departing 8th graders and senior coaches on Friday, June 5th, 6pm at Gio Field. Some serious fun will be had, and—most importantly—ultimate bragging rights will be won in our first ever Coaches vs. Seniors Exhibition Game!

Coaches have spent the whole season (some for many seasons) calling the shots, writing the lineups, and cheering from the sidelines. Now, it’s time to see if they can actually back up all that advice! Get ready for a night of laughs, great plays, and maybe a little bit of friendly trash talk.

The entire MGS community is invited to come cheer the teams on!

📣 🥳. Come cheer on our Wildcats this Friday night, May 15th at 4pm, as they take on the Dedham Marauders for a special MGS night at Gio Field!

All MGS players, families and friends are welcome and will have the opportunity to run the bases after the game. Wear your uniform or other MGS softball gear.

You may even recognize some familiar faces as umpires from MGS games!

Milton Girls Softball is excited to announce we have partnered with Ace of Diamonds Softball Training to bring weekly skills training to our Sophomore, Junior, and Senior divisions throughout the spring season.

The high-energy training is focused on fundamental skills, proper mechanics, and player IQ in a positive environment. Sessions will include level-appropriate training on throwing, fielding, hitting, sliding, and situational awareness led by the experienced team at Ace of Diamonds.

This is a free program but players must register through our website.
