We are extremely grateful for the support we have received from the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation. These tools are a huge improvement and will add to our departments response capabilities.

Please keep our brothers and sisters of Tallahassee Fire Department in your thoughts and prayers. Rest easy brother.

With profound sadness, the Tallahassee Fire Department honors and remembers Engineer Charles “Chuck” Droessler, whose End of Watch was today, June 8, 2026.

Engineer Droessler served the Tallahassee Fire Department and our community with dedication, courage, and pride from August 14, 2015, until his passing. His commitment to the fire service, his fellow firefighters, and the citizens of Tallahassee left a lasting impact that will not be forgotten.

Please keep Chuck’s family, friends, and his TFD brothers and sisters in your thoughts during this difficult time. We are grateful for his service, his friendship, and the legacy he leaves behind.

Rest easy, Engineer Droessler. We’ll take it from here.

We remember our fallen firefighters.
