Can We Add You or Your Business to the List? Milton is a very caring community that continually comes together to help family and neighbors in need of assistance. While the MACC Shining Star program always appreciates financial support, we are also seeking donations of in-kind or "negotiable" services. We are looking to create a "safety net" reference list of businesses or individuals who are willing to be called should a need arise (just a few examples include: lawn care, handyman help, appliance repair, food, clothing, gift cards.) Our request is limited to the 2026 fiscal year. This does not mean that you will definitely be called, but starting with a list helps us save valuable time in the search for necessary services. It might be cold outside but there is a lot of Christmas Spirit happening to keep everyone warm. Today is the gift pick up for the MACC Shining Star Program Adopt a Family program.

Last year the Milton Area Chamber of Commerce 12 Days of Christmas Raffle supported MACC and thr MACC Shining Star Program. One of the prizes was a ride to school on a firetruck. Yesterday two lucky students got to ride to Milton East Elementary with Lakeside Fire-Rescue! Before the ride they got a tour of the station and learned about being a first responder! Thanks to Lakeside Fire-Rescue, the Milton School District, and all the people who purchased raffle tickets!
