Today at Pendleton DSA, we spent time reflecting on the meaning of Memorial Day and why we honor it. After our discussion and video, we got crafty with popsicle sticks and paint to make our own patriotic flags! They turned out beautiful and so full of pride. 🇺🇸

A great big thank you to Umapine Creamery for showing us around the farm again and letting us check out the new milking machine! Our Milton-Freewater DSA had a great time and thank you for being a part of our wonderful community.

In celebration of Cinco de Mayo yesterday our Pendleton DSA crafted some paper tacos. It was a lot of fun and made us a little hungry!

Hermiston was buzzing today. We invited some awesome students from Hermiston High School to check out our DSA and Academy site, and they even got to explore one of our homes! Boy did they come ready! Great questions, big smiles, and a surprise dance break in the sensory room made the day unforgettable! Such a fun crew!

Did you know our DSA in Hermiston has a thoughtfully designed sensory room? Our room consists of mood lighting, uplifting posters, a comfortable place to sit and gather your thoughts and a drawer full of sensory objects to regulate and calm the nerves. What a great space for clients (and maybe some staff) to wind down on a long day.
