Backpack pick up is tomorrow (8/22) at Friday Night on Main! We will be on Main St in front of Marv’s.

We have received over 150 requests this year. If you were unable to sign up please DM and we can check for availability.

Backpacks not picked up will be delivered to your child’s school Monday morning.

Due to weather we’ve been moved to under the old Community Bank overhang. Backpacks will be available at 6pm!

If you applied for a backpack and/or supplies through Mac-Hi Key Club’s Fill a Backpack, Make a Smile- backpacks will be available for pick up Friday night from 6-9pm during Friday Nights on Main. We will have a booth on 5th Ave between the old Community Bank building and the OSU office. We encourage families to come down and enjoy the night that the Downtown Alliance has planned as an End of Summer Celebration.

If you are unable to pick up your student’s supplies at this time, they will be dropped off at schools early Monday morning (8/26) and will be in the offices.

Our community had a huge need for school sypplies this year. We have now hit 160 requests and we have packed tbose requests. We are unsure if we will be able to fill extra requests that are starting to come in as we are out of mamy items and are waiting on a shipment of supplies.

Thank you to all that donated! MacHi Key Club will gladly accept any supply or monetary donations throughout the year for this project.

Lastly, thank you to the Milton-Freewater Chamber Downtown Alliance for giving us a venue to distribute backpacks and school supplies during Friday Nights on Main.

If you applied for a backpack through our program at the end of the last school year, please join us on Friday, August 23 at Friday Nights on Main to pick up your supplies.

If you are unable to pick up a backpack at that time, they will be delivered to school offices before school starts on Monday, August 26.

We were able to fulfill all backpack requests this year! If you signed up for a backpack we are down here in Mrs. Newby’s science classroom until 6 pm handing out backpacks. (Off Dehaven St)

If you can’t make it today, no worries, backpacks will be dropped off at school offices tomorrow.

Backpacks will be ready to pick up from 4-6 pm on Monday, 8/21 in the Science Building at MacHi. Best way to access is from Dehaven street.

If you are unable to make it on Monday, backpacks will be deleivered to schools on Tuesday (8/22) around 10am.
