The ESD Alliance, a SEMI Technology Community, is the association of companies developing EDA tools & Semiconductor IP that enables engineers to create the world's electronic products. The Electronic System Design Alliance (ESD Alliance), a SEMI Technology Community, an international association of companies providing goods and services throughout the semiconductor design ecosystem, is a forum to
address technical, marketing, economic and legislative issues affecting the entire industry. The ESD Alliance has a number of committees focused on issues of common interest where members can meet to influence and stay abreast of industry initiatives; initiatives such as License Management and Anti-Piracy, Export Controls, and the Industry OS Roadmap. By focusing on commonality and promoting cooperation, the Alliance augments the effectiveness of the tools, services, and communications provided by its members for the customer community that the member companies serve. The Alliance is also the networking house for the industry and hosts numerous educational and other events relevant to industry and community interest.
