Below is a Milpitas citizen lead petition to resolve the issues at Delano Manong Park in Milpitas. The Milpitas City Council reviewed the budgets for this park improvement, but the timeline has not been released. Based on the need for a design, this may take more than two years. It's unclear at this point. It's has been more then two years since the park was built and the field has never been used for sports. The initial design was not good and this is what the youth of Milpitas have been left with (see picture). Let's make sure the city understands that fixing this park, making it safe and useable for youth soccer and other sports, is very important. If you are a Milpitas citizen, please review and sign the petition.

Event: Spring 2026 Cal North District 2 Recreational Cup
Dates: May 30 - May 31, 2026
Location: Milpitas Sports Complex, Cardoza Park, Hall Park - Milpitas, CA.
Tournament Format: Minimum of 3 games per team, with the possibility of a 4th match

Awards:
Trophies for 1st and 2nd-place teams
Participation pins for all players

Check-In Instructions:
Please check in 20-30 minutes before each game at the designated check in location. Don't forget to bring your GotSport roster!
