This Indigenous Peoples' Day, we stand in solidarity with tribal nations and honor the cultures, heritage, resilience, and courage of Indigenous people.

We also recognize that Indigenous communities have disproportionately higher rates of trauma, suicidality, and mental health distress. We envision – and continue to work toward – a world where students nationwide will have the continuity of support they need to be successful in school and in life.

Seen. Heard. Understood. 🩵

CASSY’s 2026 Impact Report is here.

We believe strong school-based mental health support begins with listening – to students, families, educators, and each school community.

Across public, private, independent, and charter schools, CASSY serves students free of charge, helping ensure no young person struggles alone.

When students feel seen and heard, meaningful change can begin.

We’re so grateful to the Adobe Community Fund for its generous investment in the social and emotional well-being of young people in our community. 💚

At CASSY, we believe every student deserves the opportunity to thrive. By providing professional mental health support right on school campuses – at no cost to students or families – we remove barriers to care and help young people navigate the challenges that stand in the way of learning and growth.

When students’ social and emotional needs are met, academic success can follow.

Thank you, Adobe Community Fund, for investing in Bay Area youth and helping young people reach their full potential – in school and in life.

At Branham High School, our amazing CASSY therapist Diana has been busy throughout — providing resources and support and and inviting students to offer words of encouragement to share with others who may be struggling. 💚

As September draws to a close, our work to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and normalize mental health support continues year-round.

Because we all need someone to talk to. Our door is open.

This , our CASSY therapists are helping ensure no student goes it alone. 💚

On , Alondra and Adriana, our wonderful CASSY team at Mountain View High School, Mountain View CA were out at lunchtime – providing interactive activities, sharing su***de prevention resources (988 cards, stickers, safety plans), and spreading awareness.

They encouraged students to "Change the Narrative" – writing out phrases or reminders that can help them flip the script when they or someone they care about is going through a difficult time.

Together, we can reduce stigma and break down barriers to support.

CASSY was glad to join fellow community organizations at Assemblymember Gail Pellerin's Care Fair 2026 in Morgan Hill this weekend. The fair brought together resources for students, seniors, and everyone in between. We shared tools for managing anxiety in the classroom and let families know about the mental health support available to students right at school.

It was lovely to reconnect with former CASSY therapist Michelle Kwon, who stopped by our booth, and to meet Katie Feickert, one of the Mental Health Heroes honored at the event. There was even a donkey meet and greet! Thank you to everyone who stopped by to connect with us. 💚

CASSY - Counseling and Support Services for Youth was honored to participate in Assemblymember Gail Pellerin's 2026 Care Fair.

Gail Pellerin has been an unwavering champion for mental health and su***de prevention. Her advocacy is deeply personal. In this clip, she shares how losing her husband to su***de shaped her commitment to raising awareness and helping others find support.
