The Rotary Club of Silicon Andhra, in collaboration with Bollywood Dance Connection and VDesi Jam, warmly invites you to our 5th Dandiya celebration!

Come be part of this small, cozy and family-friendly evening filled with Garba and Dandiya, DJ music, free dance lessons, delicious food, shopping and festive fun—all while supporting the cause of a greener, cleaner planet. 🌱🌎

💪🌱 The Protein Power | Rotary Club of Silicon Andhra Speaker Series

We kicked off our first Speaker Series of the Rotary year yesterday, Sunday, September 27, with The Protein Power, an engaging and insightful session with Michelle Sugiyama.
Michelle shared practical insights on mindful eating, protein needs, and especially plant-based protein sources—particularly relevant to the many vegetarian and vegan attendees in the room. The interactive conversation, questions, and simple everyday takeaways made the session both informative and useful.
The session was attended by our club members, non-Rotary guests, and we were especially happy to have Past District Governor Ramesh Hariharan Garu and Past AG Sobha Ramesh garu join us.
Our Speaker Series is being led by Suryakala Jandhyala, under the leadership of our young and dynamic President SaiSha Narasimha.
A wonderful beginning to this year’s Speaker Series—bringing our community together to learn, engage, and grow. 🌿💪

A powerful takeaway from the Rotary District 5170 Collaborative Impact Summit held on September 19 at the San Jose Convention Center.
Under the leadership of DG Dr. Geeta Kadambi, the Summit brought together Rotary Clubs, inspiring speakers, and 180+ nonprofit exhibits representing causes ranging from health, hygiene and education to women’s empowerment, safety and peace.
Proud to have the Rotary Club of SiliconAndhra represented by President Saisha Narasimha, Vice President Sneha Vedula, Secretary Rama Saripalle and Foundation Chair Ratnamala Vanka.
Paralympian Lex Gillette’s words especially stayed with us — a beautiful reminder that vision goes far beyond what we can see.

A wonderful beginning to our new Rotary year! 💙💛
The Rotary Club of Silicon Andhra held its first meeting of the year and our first in-person meeting with the official visit of our District Governor, Dr. Geeta Kadambi on September 12th.
DG Geeta’s address was truly inspiring as she shared her Rotary journey, her vision for the year ahead, and her theme of “Collaborative Impact” — a beautiful reminder of how much more we can accomplish when we come together with a shared purpose.
It was also a special beginning for our next-gen President, Saisha Narasimha. As Past President, I had the pleasure of welcoming Saisha as she begins her leadership journey, and I look forward to seeing the club grow under her energy and vision.
Another proud moment was DG Geeta recognizing our Past President Satya Priya Tanugula with her Paul Harris Fellow pin and certificate, honoring her $1,000 contribution to The Rotary Foundation. Congratulations, Satya Priya! 👏

As we celebrate 7 years of Rotary spirit alongside 25 years of SiliconAndhra’s legacy, we look forward to another meaningful year of service, collaboration, and community impact.

“Gut to Know: An Integrative Approach to Gut Health”
