Everything hangs on the resurrection.

Christianity is not built on inspiring ideas or moral advice. It is built on an empty tomb.

If Jesus stayed in the grave, His words are only words.

But if He rose from the dead, everything changes.

His claims are true.
His promises are trustworthy.
His authority is absolute.
And death does not have the final word.

We cannot simply admire Jesus while ignoring what He said.

The risen Christ calls for more than appreciation. He calls for faith, surrender, and obedience.

Jesus is alive.

And because He lives, we can trust Him with everything. ❤

Overcoming isn’t always about changing our circumstances; it’s about changing what we see in the middle of them.

David Wilkerson often pointed people back to this truth: that Jesus is present in every moment, not just the good ones. In the waiting, the struggle, the uncertainty, He is there, working, shaping, and revealing Himself.

When we begin to see Jesus in all things, even the hardest seasons take on new meaning. What once felt like defeat can become the very place where faith grows strongest.

Today, ask God to open your eyes. He is closer than you may think.

“My Utmost for His Highest” is a daily Christian devotional by Oswald Chambers (1874–1917) that compiles his preaching to students and soldiers. Chambers’ widow self-published the book in Oxford circa 1924. The title is taken from one of Chambers’s sermons, where he says -

“Shut out every consideration and keep yourself before God for this one thing only - My Utmost for His Highest”.
