They have been observed to regenerate parts of their brains, hearts, lungs and other vital organs. This can be done so perfectly that there is not even a scar left behind.

Can you SPOT the difference?

While cheetahs and servals live in the same habitat and have similar coat patterns, there are ways to tell the two cats apart.

The first would be size! Servals are considered medium sized cats and will weigh 18 to 40lbs and stand at a max of 26 inches at the shoulder. Cheetahs, in comparison, weigh between 40-160 lbs and stand up to three feet ( 36 inches) at the shoulder.

You can also identify a serval by their characteristic large ears! They have the largest ears to body ratio of any cat species. A special adaptation to help them hunt their favorite prey of rodents and birds.
