This charity is to promote reading for children at shelters and hospitals. By donating comic books and other novels, we will promote imagination and literacy for children who are navigating through difficult times.

I started this charity due to my love of reading, comic books specifically. I received my first comic book when I was four years old from my uncle. The fun adventure and drawing in the comic book jumpstarted my interest into other novels. My future aspirations are in the medical field. As I work towards my educational and career aspirations, I thought about how I can make an impact now while drawing on my future aspirations. I would like to help children who are hospitalized to help occupy their minds through imagination. I also thought how much more of an impact we could make if we help out children in shelters as well.

If you would like to donate comic books or books for children there is a bin on our porch. Thank you!
