Over 1700 nurses from Robert Wood Johnson Nurses United have been on strike since August 4th. Their main issue is safe nurse to patient ratios, an issue they have been advocating for, for many years. A nurse from the union will share their story.

Final plans have been made and set up has begun so bring yourself along with all your friends and family down to Gloria Bradford Borough Park located in Milltown, NJ , Saturday 12pm-5pm to help us make the second annual Millltown Multicultural Festival a hit.

WE'RE BACK for our second annual 2022 Multicultural Festival Presented by The Milltown IDEA!!! 🎉 May 14th from 12-5pm at Borough Park in Milltown, NJ. We're bringing back some of the amazing performances 💃 everyone loved from last year AND bringing in more new ones to share with our community!
💥 New this year will be MULTICULTURAL VENDORS! 💥 Local culturally-rooted businesses and individuals will be at the festival to share their skills, goods, and services with our community attendees... from learning Irish step-dances to watching live ceramics demonstrations to purchasing books for people of all ages.
And of course we'll be bringing back our food trucks 🌯 to keep everyone going throughout the day, along with other activities like community roundtable discussions 👭👬 and a beautiful art gallery of local artists. 🎨
