The last 15 years of the Mark Keeley Memorial and the Mark and Jay Keeley Memorial Golf Tournaments have yielded some amazing memories. Because of the dedication and generosity of the participants and sponsors, our foundation has been able to help numerous local charities and causes. We were able to donate iPads to local nursing homes so that residents could FaceTime their loved ones during Covid-19 restrictions. We were able to support families and individuals who were dealing with life altering situations. We were able to sponsor children to attend Camp I Am Me. We were able to change lives….all because of your commitment to our golf tournament, your love for Mark and Jay and your friendship to us.
What started as a far-fetched idea after a round of golf a few weeks after we lost our dad turned into one of the best and most successful golf tournaments in the area. I don’t think we could’ve ever envisioned what this golf tournament would turn into. But, our lives are much different than they were back in 2010. Geoffrey Chaucer once said, “All good things must come to an end,” and we believe that the time has come for the Keeley Memorial Golf Tournament to sign off. This isn’t a decision that we are making lightly. This golf tournament has meant a great deal to us over the past decade and a half. We’ve worked hard to make it into what it is today and it has truly become part of our identity. We understand that this decision affects many people due to our loyal base of participants and sponsors, but we ask for your understanding. Thank you all for everything that you’ve done to make this tournament an incredible success and for continuing the legacy of dad and Jay. It has meant more to us than you could ever imagine!
