Did you know... horses can smell the stress hormones that accompany human or equine fear?

"Anxiety fills the air near our arguments, polluting the barns where our horses live. These scents linger for a long time, even though we do not have the capacity to detect them," writes .

"Horses have all the neural machinery for odor detection that bloodhounds have. To give you an idea of just how sensitive that is, bloodhounds can detect a scent 12 days old from 12 miles away. Your horse has no trouble smelling anxiety in the barn aisle."

Dr. Jones explains the neuroscience of stress and how barn drama affects horses. 🤯

🇺🇸 Never Forget 🇺🇸Today, we join the nation in remembering the lives lost on September 11, 2001. As an organization built on community, vigilance, and looking out for one another, we are reminded that the best way to honor those we lost is to embody the spirit of unity, compassion, and resilience that brought us all together on September 12.We remember the human heroes, the brave first responders, and the incredible four-legged search and rescue teams who ran toward the danger.May we always stand together, protect one another, and keep their memories alive.
