🇺🇸 Our Women Warriors’ Leadership Luncheon was a tremendous success, bringing together an inspiring group of women Veterans, community leaders, supporters, and friends to celebrate the service, leadership, strength, and resilience of women who have worn our nation’s uniform.

The energy in the room was remarkable—new friendships were formed, stories were shared, connections were strengthened, and the leadership of our women Veterans was front and center.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who attended, supported, sponsored, volunteered, and helped make this special event possible!

Most importantly, thank you to our Women Warriors. Your service did not end when you took off the uniform. You continue to lead, serve, inspire, and strengthen our communities every day ✨

Mission accomplished—and what a day it was!

August may be the busiest month on the farm. Summer begins to fade and fall prep sets in. So many workshops, events, and groups have joined us this month. So here’s Part I of our August Recap ☀️

🌿 Herb squad continues to harvest and process herbs like a well oiled machine. Harvesting, dehydrating, labeling and packing herbal products to give away for free!

🥬 Garden Group preps beds and plants successions of fall greens & herbs 🌿

🐝 The Bee team continues their loving care of the hives. Adding sugar water into the hives for the bees to feed on as we near winter. This helps the bees restore honey supplies for the winter.

🎨 Workshops included Foraging at the Farm, Kitchen Medicine II: Vital Nourishment, Pottery, Plant Nutrition, Tomato Sauce Canning & Making, Beeswax Candle Making, and Healthy & Nourishing Meal Prep 👏

And Farm Maintenance Crew, Brendan and Delmar, have been tackling the farm To Do list! Roofs, land clearing, carpentry, grading, they’ve done it all 🛠️🪚🪏

👉 AND that’s just the first half of August, stay tuned for Part II. And check out the September Event Calendar to register for upcoming fall workshops & events 🎃
