Looking for a responsible, motivated, open-minded, and reliable hard worker with a reliable vehicle. Preferably local to or near Mills River, NC

You must have a serious interest in training dogs.

Job duties are:

* Cleaning, sanitizing, and organization of our facility and other dog areas.
* Assistance with training and anything in regards to care for our training dogs which may include potting, walking, bathing, grooming, giving medication, cleaning crates and training spaces, etc.
* Assist with creating training documentation.

After being properly trained:

* Promoting, conducting and instructing all current dog training curricula.
* Be a genuine Asheville Dog Academy LLC ambassador who exemplifies the Asheville Dog Academy LLC values in all communications and interactions.
* Coaching, encouraging and motivating dogs and pet parents
* Consulting with clients to discuss behavioral concerns and training needs.
* Teaching dogs basic commands and manners using various training techniques that are best suited to each dog’s temperament and having flexibility with all 4 quadrants of operant conditioning.
* Contacting clients to schedule and confirm training appointments.

Starting 30-40 hrs a week

The schedule will be Thursday through Monday afternoons and weekends.
