πŸš’ When One Department Hurts, We All Hurt πŸš’

There was a time when our department found itself needing to rebuild. We know firsthand the struggles, uncertainty, and hard work that come with trying to restore a department and continue serving the community that depends on you. Through the support of others, determination, and countless hours of dedication, we were able to come back stronger.

That is why, when we learned of another volunteer fire department facing many of the same challenges, we knew we wanted to help.

This department is working hard to rebuild and continue providing fire protection and emergency services to its community. They have a long road ahead and could use all the support they can get. If your department has equipment, gear, supplies, or other resources that are no longer being used, please consider donating them. If you’d like to help but don’t know how to get in touch, reach out to us and we will gladly connect you.

The fire service is more than trucks and equipmentβ€”it’s a family. We stand together through the good times and the difficult ones. When one department struggles, we should all be willing to lend a hand, offer encouragement, and help build them back up.

Please keep this department in your thoughts, share this post, and help spread the word. Together, we can make a difference.

β€οΈπŸš’ Proud to be part of the Fine Red Line family. Because when one department rises, we all rise. πŸš’β€οΈ

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Bulldog Buildings, LLC for their generous donation of a portable building to our station. Several months ago, our department, in collaboration with Kennedy Volunteer Fire Department, was awarded a grant to acquire an extractor and dryer, specialized equipment designed to wash turnouts and mitigate the risk of cancer-causing carcinogens that can be absorbed through the skin, a leading cause of in-line duty deaths among firefighters. Following this, our training officer contacted Bulldog Buildings to inquire about the cost of a suitable building, explaining the purpose behind our request. In an extraordinary display of community support, Bulldog Buildings took our proposal into consideration and provided the building, delivering it to our station. We appreciate the commitment of companies like Bulldog Buildings that support volunteer efforts and look forward to announcing the arrival of the extractor soon. We encourage those in need of building solutions to visit Bulldog Buildings.
