As March comes to a close, it's that time again to hang the skis up and start getting bikes ready to roll!

While KGL will not have open hours in April, you can still use our space to tune up your bike before the season. If you're unsure how but are willing to learn, email us at [email protected] to set up a time.

Full Moon Snowshoe – March 3rd! ❄️

Join us for a magical evening on the trails as part of the Katahdin Region Winter Trail Series! We’ll plan to meet at Millinocket KGL at 6:30pm, get geared up, and head out for Full Moon Snowshoe at the Bait Hole Trails in Millinocket.

Please dress according to the weather and plan to be outdoors for at least an hour. Headlamps recommended if you have one, but keep your fingers crossed for a clear sky and strong moonlight!

Join us TOMORROW, February 17th, at 6:30pm for our first Winter Trail Series outing. We will be meeting at the Millinocket Katahdin Gear Library at 6:30pm.

Please dress for the weather and be prepared to spend at least an hour outdoors. This is a New Moon snowshoe, so head lamps are recommended if you have one!

Vacation Camp registration is almost here!

Join us Feb. 16-19 for four days of outdoor fun and learning for students in grades 2-5! Vacation Campers will enjoy hands-on activities like cross-country skiing, animal tracking, nature art, snow science and more.

Vacation Camp is a free, collaborative program that brings partners together to offer meaningful outdoor experiences for kids in the Katahdin region. It’s a great way for students to try new things, make friends, and connect to the land and their community.

Space is limited and registration is required. Registration opens late January, so keep an eye out and be ready to sign up!
