If you’re looking for a meaningful way to give back to our community while also making a tax-deductible charitable contribution, I’d love to invite you to partner with Manna for Mothers and River Kid’s for our Back-to-School Supply Drive.

This year, we’re collecting specific school supplies requested by local teachers to help ensure students have exactly what they need to start the school year prepared and confident. (See the attached supply list.)

There are two easy ways to help:
✏️ Purchase and donate items from the attached list.
💙 Make a monetary donation through our church’s secure giving page. Simply select Manna for Mothers and in the memo put “back to school” so your gift goes directly toward purchasing needed school supplies.

Every backpack filled, every notebook donated, and every pencil given is an investment in the next generation. Together, we can help ease the financial burden on local families and make sure students in our community begin the school year with the tools they need to succeed.

If your business is interested in partnering with us, we’d be incredibly grateful for your support. Thank you for helping us make a difference—one student at a time!

We are in need specific need of:
Clear view binders in sizes 1/2”, 1”, 1.5”, 2”
BLACK Expo markers fine tip and chisel tip
Ticonderoga pencils
Dividers with pockets

Supplies need to be dropped off no later than Thursday 8/6 so we can get them sorted for distribution.

📚✏️ Help Us Fill Backpacks & Bless Local Families! 🎒❤️

Manna for Mothers is partnering with River Kids and getting ready for our annual School Supply Giveaway, and we need your help to make it a success!

We’ve attached examples of the specific school supplies that have been requested. By donating these items, you’re helping ensure local students have exactly what they need to start the school year prepared and confident.

Every notebook, pack of pencils, box of crayons, and bottle of glue makes a difference. Together, we can ease the financial burden on families in our community and show them the love of Christ in a practical way.

🛒 Please consider picking up one or more of the attached items on your next shopping trip and dropping them off at the designated collection location in the River of Life lobby.

If you’d rather give financially, you can also donate through our church’s giving platform and designate your gift for the Manna for Mothers “back to school”.

📚✏️ Back-to-School Supply Drive ✏️📚

Manna for Mothers is excited to partner with River Kids once again for our Annual Back-to-School Supply Giveaway!

This year we’re doing things a little differently, and we need your help! To better serve our local students and provide exactly what teachers are requesting, we will be collecting only the specific school supplies and brands listed below. Please donate only the requested items so we can ensure every child receives the supplies they truly need.

🛍️ Donations can be dropped off in the church lobby.

💙 Want to help but don’t have time to shop? We’ve got you covered! You can make a monetary donation through the Church Center App under Kingdom Builders. Simply add “Back to School” in the memo, or the regular offering with the same memo, and we’ll do the shopping for you.

We are believing for an incredible turnout this year as we come together to bless mothers and children in our community. Our desire is to equip students with the tools they need to succeed while helping ease some of the financial burden many families carry during back-to-school season.

Thank you for partnering with us to make a difference. Your generosity allows us to be the hands and feet of Jesus in a practical way.

I missed my shoutout last week, but I couldn’t let another week go by without saying THANK YOU! 🌾

Another huge thank you to River Youth for continuing to serve Manna for Mothers! Last week, the middle school girls jumped in to organize food, sort clothing donations, and go through school supplies. This week, the high school girls picked right up—sorting more clothes, hanging freshly washed items, and even creating a system to further categorize school supplies so we can begin inventory for our next Back-to-School event. 📚🖍️🌾

Preparing for Back-to-School isn’t just a seasonal effort—it’s something we work on all year long. From collecting and organizing supplies to planning and preparing, it takes continuous effort to be ready to serve families when the time comes. These girls are helping lay that groundwork now, and it makes such a difference! ✏️📓🌾

We are so grateful for their willingness to serve with such joyful hearts!

We also had the opportunity to partner with another ministry, Beyond the Pews for Life, to meet a very special need.

They shared about Ashley, a brave mom who initially went to Planned Parenthood about to go through with abortion. After receiving support and choosing life, she has stood firm—even without support from her family. What an incredible testimony of courage and faith.

Because of YOUR generosity, we were able to come alongside this mission and bless her with clothing, laundry detergent, an infant bathtub, pacifiers, bottles, teethers, prenatal and postpartum items, diapers, wipes, milk storage bags, and more.

Glory to God!!! 🙌 What an honor it is to partner in serving mothers like Ashley.

We may never meet her, but we will be praying for her, her baby, and her journey ahead. We’ve had the privilege to help water the seed that has been planted—and we know there will be more Ashleys. And when the call comes, we will answer. 🌾🌾

Another huge thank you to River Youth! This time, a big shoutout to the middle school boys who jumped in and helped relocate the rest of our goods to our new Manna for Mothers location. 🙌

We are so grateful for the staff and the vision of River Youth to raise up the next generation with hearts ready to serve. Seeing these students jump in and work so hard has been such a blessing!

Our new space is coming together beautifully, and we’re excited for the next few weeks as we continue organizing and preparing it so we can better serve the mothers and families in our community. 💛

We do still have a temporary pause on clothing donations, but we are currently accepting school supplies and baby items, with a specific need for pull-ups in all sizes and brands.

Thank you all for your continued support, donations, and willingness to serve alongside us. We couldn’t do this without you! 🙏

A gigantic THANK YOU to the River Youth—especially the high school boys—for jumping in to help during your very first breakout session tonight! 🙌

Instead of just meeting, you chose to serve. These young men worked hard helping us clean out a room for the new Manna for Mothers location, and their willingness to show up and help means so much to our mission.

Because of their effort, we’re one step closer to creating a huge new space that will bless moms and babies in our community. 💕👶

We can’t wait for the other groups over the next several weeks to continue helping us move and organize.

We are so grateful for our youth who are willing to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Great job, guys—we appreciate you!

I snagged school supplies on clearance today—and I find baby & mom items marked down all year long. Clearance finds help us serve more families and it’s one of the easiest ways to support Manna for Mothers! 💛🌾

Clearance shopping = stretching donations further + blessing more moms and babies. If you see a good deal, grab it and think of Manna for Mothers 💛

Did you know that last year we served mothers by providing school supplies to over 155 kids?!? Think we could beat that this year???

Hey moms and friends!

📣Exciting news!

Pretty soon Manna for Mothers will be relocating to a bigger space within the church! This will help give us room to sort and organize donations and also give mothers the space to “shop” for their needs. 🙌

With that being said, we are overwhelmed with clothes at the moment with nowhere to put them. As a result I am asking for a PAUSE ✋ on ALL CLOTHES donations. We are so thankful for the donations we have received so far and we will be taking in more soon.

We are also in need of a way to make shopping easier for moms. If anyone has anything like the pictures below or can get any to donate we would be grateful!! Racks and shelving with wheels would be best so we can roll them out for events such as back to school bash but absolutely not required! We will be grateful for anything!

We have a few desperate needs for families in the area. If you are able to donate any items below please bring them to the Manna for Mothers table in the River of Life Church lobby. Also please share and invite your friends to follow our page. That way, more mothers can find help when they need it and more people can see what we are needing. Thank you!!
