Hello Ghost Riders!!

UT Martin, are you ready for us?!? The Ghost Riders 4-H showgirls are saddling up for the 2026 Western Regional 4-H Horse show. We are in our showgirl era🧡💚🧡💚

Hunter and Speed events start tomorrow while Gaited, Western, and Ranch will start on Saturday!

****WESTERN REGIONAL HORSE SHOW INFO!! PLEASE READ ENTIRE POST!!!****

Hard to believe the Western Regional 4-H Horse show is already THIS WEEKEND!! ARE YOU READY FOR IT?!?!

The show will take place at the UT Martin Ned McWherter Agricultural Complex. The address is 111 Moody Ave, Martin, TN 38237.

***All exhibitors must have a “Proof of Negative Coggins Test” within 12 months of show date. COGGINS PAPERS WILL BE CHECKED AT THE REGISTRATION DESK BEFORE EXHIBITOR NUMBERS ARE ISSUED.***

This weekend it looks like it will be HOT AND HUMID!! Please bring whatever you and your horses need to stay cool!! Highly recommend bringing a stall fan with extension cords! Bring rain gear as well cause you never know! Make sure your name is on everything you bring!!

Also remember to wear your Ghost Riders shirt to show off our club pride!!

The arena and barn will open at 8am on Friday. Stalls are FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE.

On Friday, the show will begin at 1:00 p.m. with our Hunter Classes. The Speed Classes will begin after the Hunter Show, but not before 5:00 p.m. REMEMBER HELMETS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL DIVISIONS BUT ESPECIALLY FOR SPEED!!! PLEASE REMEMBER YOUR HELMET!!

The remainder of Western, Ranch and the Gaited Division classes will be held on Saturday, June 6 at the West TN Ag Pavilion, beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Registration will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the West TN Ag Pavilion on Friday, June 5. Registration will open at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 6.

Also, the first F. Neal Smith Equestrian Award Friday evening, prior to the start of the Goat Tying & Ground Dummy Roping. Please stay to join us for this announcement!

Last night was the 4-H Awards Banquet! Our Ghost Riders were recognized for their incredible accomplishments over the 4-H year! This year was extra special as two of our girls, Eliza Yucalevich and Serenity Green, were recognized in the State 4-H Honor Club🎖! Additionally, Mrs. Stephanie Herfel Kinsler was recognized as for the Friend of 4-H award!!

Congratulations to all of our youth and adults!
