We will be testifying in front of the Colorado General Assembly today in favor of HB25-1207 - Pet Ownership Residential Housing Structures, concerning measures to address barriers to pet ownership in connection with residing in a residential structure. MHA's Dove Valley has been a pet-friendly community since it's inception in 2006. The benefits of pet ownership are well-documented. Pets provide companionship, reduce feelings of loneliness, and offer emotional support, all of which contribute to an improved quality of life. Research indicates that pet ownership can reduce stress and enhance overall well-being.

Tonight, the Town Board of Trustees appointed two incredible new Commissioners to our team—Chad Wilson & Lori Vandiveer! Their vast experience in the construction world and dedication to serving our community will be invaluable as we continue our mission.

Please join us in welcoming and congratulating Chad & Lori! We’re thrilled to have them on the Board and can’t wait to see the out of the box ideas they bring to the table.

We’re looking for passionate volunteers to join our Board of Commissioners, now is the perfect time to step up and make a difference! Our upcoming projects may include rehabbing existing homes in Milliken or building affordable workforce housing.

💡 No experience needed—just a heart for our community! Time commitment? Just 2-4 hours a month, but the impact? HUGE.

📅 Meetings: 3rd Thursday of each month at 8:30 AM (Town Hall or virtual)
