Millerville Volunteer Fire Department Millerville Volunteer Fire Department is a 100% volunteer fire department located in Clay County, Alabama. We currently have around 20-30 active members.

We have one station currently, it is located on Schoolhouse Road in Millerville. We strive to provide the best fire, rescue and emergency medical services available to our community. We are always seeking volunteers, we provide all training and equipment. FD meetings are the first Sunday of every month at 3PM

They come in the night. No matter the time. They come in the cold, the wind, the rain and the snow. They come when called because it’s all they know. They put out the fires and comfort the family who’s lost so much in one tragic accident. It’s a family most won’t ever understand but I sure am proud of the family we have. Thank you to all who came out to fight a residential house fire in our automatic aid’s community (Tri- Community) last night. The home owner got out but lost everything else.

Thank you Tri-community and Hollins fire dept for your combined efforts to put the fire out. Thank you to the Clay county Sheriffs office and the Clay county rescue squad for coming out as well.

Due to some unforeseen scheduling conflicts MVFD and Mount Tabor United Methodist Church are going to have to cancel the car wash on 10/25/25. We are so sorry and hope to reschedule soon. Thanks for understanding.

The Millerville Volunteer Fire Department and Mount Tabor United Methodist Church will be co-sponsoring a car wash on Saturday October 25, 2025 starting at 9:00 a.m. It will be $10 per car and $15 for a pickup. You can't buy cleaning supplies for those prices!!! Come on out and help support these two great groups in our community!!!! I just love that we have two groups working together to raise money to serve their community and our Lord and Savior! I'm sure they would accept any other donations as well. So, come on out on 10/25/25 and help those who are there to help you any time you need it. If you want a tour of the Fire Dept. just ask; they might even let you blow the siren!

The MVFD held the drawing today for our annual Rifle Raffle. Congratulations to Ms. Teresa Watts
And thank you to everyone who helped support our department by buying a ticket. The money will be used for supplies, repairs, and other things to help our community.

Millerville fire department is having a R A F F L E on a Re*****on .243. Since it’s so close to deer season, we decided that we would choose a R I F L E that could be used by adult or child. The tickets are FIVE dollars a piece. We are only doing a limited number of tickets. 250 is the limit we have decided on as a department. Contact this page via private message for tickets or you can contact Kelly Riley at 256-794-2213. Do not call please. Text your name and number you want on the ticket and the amount of tickets you’d like to purchase. We have cash app that we can send you the details to.

The drawing will be held live on facebook on October 5th 2025 unless the limit of tickets are sold before then. That will be announced and a post will be made.

I will add pictures of the item in question in another post. I also just want to personally thank our community for all the support y’all give us. It means a lot to us. Thank you ❤️

Last Friday the Millerville Volunteer Fire Department did some night training. We have some new members and we went over some basic equipment operation. We are glad to have our new members and welcome anyone who would like to come visit and see if it's something you would like to do.
