AAZK's Animal Welfare Committee is collecting data on the food reinforcers YOU use for training! They're seeking data on all species, from ostriches to okapis to ornate box turtles and more! Thanks to Eco Adventures for having NCAAZK join them at their 15th Anniversary Earth Day Extravaganza last weekend! NCAAZK President and Vice President, Paul and Hilary, were able to chat with visitors about the work of keepers and how we train and enrich our animals.

A reminder that NCAAZK's three grants are open for applications. One is to be used towards attendance at the national AAZK conference in Tacoma, WA, and is up to $1000 in funds. An additional two $500 grants are available for any professional development opportunity. Applications for either grant are open through April 30th.
