Underwood & Associates U&A achieves this by designing and constructing stream and wetland systems using Regenerative Stream Channel (RSC) techniques.

Underwood & Associates strives to restore native hydrological cycles and reduce nutrient pollution with regenerative wetland, living shoreline, and stream restoration techniques. Our goal is to restore native hydrological cycles, raise groundwater tables, create habitat for endangered species, and reduce nutrient and sediment loads entering our waters. Underwood & Associates is based in Annapolis, MD and has spent over 20 years creating and restoring wetlands to clean up the Chesapeake Bay.

A little rain couldn't keep us away! 🌧️🌿 This past Sunday, 22 amazing volunteers braved a soggy Bog Day at the Magothy Greenway Natural Area. Huge thanks to everyone who rolled up their sleeves to remove trash from the headwaters of South Gray’s Bog and celebrate the unveiling of our new interpretive sign! 🪧✨
Underwood & Associates provided beautiful bog plants for display and 5 Atlantic White Cedars to plant! 🌲
During the event, there was conversations with the Magothy River Association about resurrecting the county bog committee and planning future research and restoration projects. Big things are coming!!
