This beautiful spring morning members from the Rotary Club of Lancaster South along with the support from the Lampeter Strasburg Interact Club, helped to spruce up the grounds of the Hans Herr House and the 1719 Museum. Delaney Gote, a senior at Solanco School District, has been selected as the Lancaster South Rotary Club’s Student of the Month for April, 2026.

Gote is the daughter of Matthew and Jonelle Gote of Quarryville.
Gote competes on both the Varsity Girls Volleyball Team and Varsity Girls Softball Team having earned various LL League honors in both sports. Gote also is the President of the Varsity Club, and a member of the Renaissance Club. She additionally serves as a mentor to fourth grade students at Quarryville Elementary.
Outside of school, Gote plays club volleyball for the PA Elite team. She also volunteers with the SLC Buddies program in Quarryville and works at Target. She enjoys reading, shopping and traveling.

Following graduation, Gote will be attending Penn State University – Berks where she will continue her athletic career as a member of the Women’s Volleyball Team.

The Student of the Month is selected on the basis of academic excellence as well as school and community service.

Congratulations to our Rotary Students of the Month, Isabella Seibert and Elijah Hess, Seniors at Penn Manor School District. Their accomplishments are outstanding. Please take the time to learn more about them below:

Seibert is the daughter of Mark and Ashley Seibert of Millersville Borough.

Seibert is a midfielder for the Varsity Girls Soccer Team. Seibert also is a member of the Civitas Club, Unified Club, and plays for the Penn Manor Unified Bocce and Unified Track teams.
Outside of school, Seibert volunteer’s at Gigi’s House. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, and going to the beach. She also enjoys music and attending concerts.

Following graduation, Seibert will be attending West Chester and plans to major in Special Education. Following college Seibert hopes to work as a special education teacher at the secondary level.

Hess is the son of Joel Hess and Kelly Hurst of Millersville.

Hess plays on both the Offensive and Defensive Lines for the Varsity Football Team, earning 1st team LL League Honors. Hess also competes on the Varsity Track and Field Team in the Javelin Throw winning District III AAA gold in 2025. Additionally, he is a member of the Linkcrew and Lineman Club.
Outside of school, Hess served on a missions trip to Harlington, Texas and is involved in his Church’s annual auction. He enjoys photography and hopes to one day own a successful photography business focusing on sports and gym photography. Hess also competes in powerlifting competitions recently placing second at Powerlifting America’s National competition.

Following graduation, Hess will be attending Pennsylvania West University – California Campus (formerly California University of Pennsylvania) and plans to major in Marketing.
