In 2014, BWI has updated their noise levels and the contours extend further from the airport. Now part of our community is within these higher noise levels. Here is a link to the community outreach information on BWI's website if you are interested in checking it out. We have not been included in the Neighborhood Committee public meetings as we have not been within the noise contours. Now we are and I would like to make BWI aware of our presence and start to attend their meetings.

If you click on the tax map AA15 at the bottom, you will see which homes in our neighborhood are affected.

Maryland Aviation Administration's (MAA) Community Relations website is part of the Community Outreach Program for the Office of Noise, Real Estate and Land Use Compatibility Planning. A subdivision sign has been posted at the end of Nolberry Drive. This means the development is still moving forward. Lets see if appealing to the County Executive can do anything! Come to the meeting next Wed.

A Community Connection event will be held at Old Mill High School on Wed. Feb. 19th. We will be able to meet the County Executive, Laura Neuman, and share any concerns. 4-7 pm in media center. Please come and share we are against a proposed development accessing trying to access their property through our neighborhood!

There will be a community meeting next Wed. 10/9/13. Flyers will be going out soon. Please let your neighbors know! One of the main discussions will be about an adjacent proposed development possibly through our neighborhood, unless it can be stopped, which is starting up again.
