Today our Hospitality Committee served an extra-special teacher appreciation lunch (hosted by kindergarten families), as we celebrated Mrs. Galdi. If you have not heard the news, she is retiring at the end of 2025. Lunch was provided from Little Carmines, and we gifted her a box of notes, wishes, advice, drawings & coloring pages from all her current and former students. Best Wishes Mrs. Galdi!

Message from the Front Office:

We have a lot of winter coats in the lost and found, please check for your students coat prior to Friday, December 19th. After the 19th, the building will be closed until Monday, January 5th.

Ho ho ho!!! Don't forget to bring your own bag to the Holiday Shop today. If you bring your own bag, you can enter your full name and home room teacher on a raffle ticket at check out. The raffle winner will earn a $30 gift card to Franklin Toys.

Special guest, Santa Shark, will be in attendance at the Holiday Shop on Monday. Thanks to Kate Twigg, every child who wishes can get a complimentary photo with Santa Shark.

In lieu of a fee, we invite parents to make a voluntary donation to the Stronger Hearts foundation. It is near and dear to the hearts of SCES, and it was founded by Mrs. Karr-Dawson's daughter and son-in-law.

The Holiday Shop cannot go on without parent involvement and now that the turkey has digested, it’s time to step up and be the hero of your Elementary School!
