One of the best soccer finales we have had ever! AC Annapolis and Sips were battling it out at Athletic Performance Inc (API) . Sips were down 4-1 with ~7:30 left in game, yet managed to come all the way back and tie it with 90 seconds remaining.

The shootout was just as fiercely contested with it coming down to the 7th player on each team. That meant the two keepers were to shoot on each other to finally crown a champion and despite battling an illness, barely managed to edge out his counterpart. What a game. What a finale. Well done team Sips!

What a night at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium! ⚽💙

A huge thank you to the for allowing our Peake Social players to take the field at halftime and experience what it’s like to play under the lights in one of Maryland’s premier soccer venues.

As expected, the Peake “Blue Team” came out on top 😎 while the actual Annapolis Blues men’s side put on an absolute clinic with a 7-0 victory!

If you haven’t made it out to a Blues match yet, there are still games remaining this season and we highly recommend checking one out. Even better, join us for our special Tailgate on July 11th before the match! Great food, great people, and a great opportunity to celebrate community sports in Annapolis.

The Annapolis Run Club is back! We’ll see everyone back in West Annapolis at at 6:30 pm! We’re back to our weekly schedule with a 5K course and a shorter and walkable 2 mile course. All paces welcomed! Free high fives and elbow bumps each and every week !

We’re excited to have our partners with us.

A new addition is who will have monthly visits with the best names in the shoe running game that will include demos, trials, and test runs.

Our Spring Flag Football is live! We’ll be rolling out the links to all of our springs sports the next few days. Two big updates to note heading into this year!
1) We have a new registration platform called League Lab that will be replacing League Apps. This will allow more interactivity, captains can post and edit scores for faster league standing updates, and better team management.
2) For our larger team sports, we’ll be moving towards teams fees by default instead of individual payments. Captains will still be able to opt to switch to the latter but this no format will allow more flexibility for captains and players. It should also allow us to get more players signed up faster which allows for better and more streamlined operations. Captains will also receive more perks and bonuses throughout the year for taking on the captain role.

Help Your Neighbors with Snow Shoveling!!

With between six and twelve inches of snow in the forecast and new, more expensive fines for unshoveled sidewalks in Annapolis and Anne Arundel County, we want to make sure no one gets left behind!

Peake Social is mobilizing our community to help shovel sidewalks for neighbors who need a hand including seniors, people with mobility challenges, busy families, or anyone who could use some help after the storm.

Here’s how you can get involved:

• Need help?
Submit your address or nominate a neighbor who could use sidewalk shoveling support.

• Want to volunteer?
Sign up to help and list your street/neighborhood and we’ll match you locally.

• Want to hire a local kid to shovel to support local and young entrepreneurs?
Submit your address and details on what needs to be shoveled. Rates today are between $20 and $40 an hour.

• Have a kid looking to earn some extra money?
We will accept parents contact information and let them be the mediator for helping get those kids off their video games !

Fines in the City and County are between $50 and $100 now and sidewalk have to be clear within three hours of the last snowfall in the City of Annapolis 😮.
BGE bills are high enough! Let’s help our neighbors both move around the sidewalks and avoid any fines.
