Perry Valley Grangers gathered for a delicious summer picnic at the Millerstown Park Pavilion for a wonderful summer Grange meeting! ☀️

During the evening, our Grange was proud to present a $500 donation to the Perry Historians to support the restoration of Shoaff’s Mill at Little Buffalo State Park. Thank you to the Perry Historians for your continued dedication to preserving and sharing our local heritage.

We also heard updates on upcoming Grange events like our Perry Valley Grange's America 250th Celebration! on June 27th! 🇺🇸

To end the evening, we enjoyed great music, fellowship, and a little Perry County history with local musician Zachariah King - Picker & Singer. Thank you to everyone who joined us for a great night celebrating community, history, and friendship! 🎶

It was a busy May meeting for the Perry Valley Grange! 🎉🌾

Two new members were officially installed, Alexa Ehrenzeller and Blake Harper. Congratulations to them both, and welcome to the Grange family!

We also enjoyed a wonderful presentation from Pennsylvania Jack, who shared folk stories that had everyone engaged and laughing throughout the evening. Thank you, Jack, for a great program!

Committee reports were also shared, including an update from our Youth Leadership Committee. YLC President Ryelle Fuller and Secretary Alexa Ehrenzeller provided an exciting update on their upcoming event, Perry Valley Grange's America 250th Celebration!, and all the great work the committee is doing. Be sure to mark your calendar for June 27th from 5:00-8:00 PM for the YLC’s fun filled evening with line dancing, an escape room, kids activities, and delicious food!

📚🗣️ Don’t forget — THIS Friday, May 15 at 7:00 PM at the Millerstown Community Park Building!

We’re excited to welcome Pennsylvania Jack, the “alter ego” of professional storyteller Jack Graham. Storytelling is one of the oldest forms of entertainment, and Pennsylvania Jack brings the stories of Pennsylvania’s past to life through engaging tales and historical storytelling.

Jack has performed at venues and events including the State Museum in Harrisburg, Historic Bartram’s Gardens, The Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation, Fort Freeland, and the Lehigh Valley Storytelling Guild. Now, he’s coming to Perry County to share stories of Pennsylvania history with us!

The Perry Valley Grange held a successful January meeting on a chilly night! ❄️ We thank all of our members who helped welcome new members, braved the cold to join us, and enjoyed an informative presentation from Hannah Kipp of UPMC. Hannah shared valuable insights on healthy hydration and tips for making smarter choices when eating out.

🎉 Congratulations to our new members, John Hawkins and Diane Schnauffer! Welcome to the Grange—we look forward to working together to strengthen our community.

As we head into a new year, let us not forget the Perry Valley Grange Mission Statement, which continues to guide our work:
