Millerstown Ambulance League

Millerstown Ambulance was dispatched to an auto accident on route 11/15 along with New Buffalo Fire Department on 7/16.
Driver of the truck had no obvious injuries however he was transported to a hospital for further evaluation.

03/06/2026

Millerstown Ambulance, Perry Medic 81 and Newport Fire Department were dispatched to a single car, rollover accident with possible entrapment. Newport Fire Department arrived on scene and advised no entrapment, the occupant was out of the motor vehicle.
Millerstown EMS arrived on scene, a male patient with no injuries. The patient was evaluated and refused treatment or transport.

Reminder: Slow Down, there is a lot of water laying on the roadway.

We would like to take a moment and recognize a true committed, mentor, hero, friend, husband and father. Rich Fegley has committed over 50+ years to the Millerstown Fire Department and Millerstown Ambulance League.
He has missed holidays, birthdays, anniversaries and so much more because of his commitment to his community. He has seen many tragedies, when people are at their worst and needed help. He would drop what he is doing, no matter what, when the tones would go off and the pagers would beep, he headed to the firehouse.
Rich has been an EMT for over 50+ years, a CPR & First Aid instructor, a firefighter and a Fire Chief for many years. A mentor to so many over the years!
His family is truly proud of him and his commitment to his Firehouse Family and Community.
I couldn't be more proud to say, "That's my Dad!" You have taught me so much, you brought me into the Fire and EMS world. At a young age, I was always going to the firehouse with you, seeing what firemen do. I made a commitment at the age of 14 to be like my Dad, to be committed to the community and my Fiehouse Family. I can't Thank You enough for all you have done over the years. I love you Dad!
Rich has made the decision to retire on 1/1/26. We all know he will still be around, to enjoy free time and do things that he loves to do. We know it will be a hard adjustment for him, he will hear the tones or the house siren and want to run!
Richard Fegley, WE the Millerstown Ambulance League and the Millerstown Fire Department, want to Thank You for EVERYTHING you have done over the years. You are a True Hero and mentor in so many eyes. We wish you the Best on your retirement.

The 2026 Millerstown Ambulance League subscription Application's are out which most of you know already. Anyone in the 17062 area should have received one in the mail.
If you have NOT received one, there are extras at the Juniata Valley Bank in Millerstown and the Post Office. You can also go to our Fire Department website and print one.

For all those that have been asking, the Ambulance Memberships for 2026 are being mailed out today(11/24/25).
They will be delivered to the 17062 zip code. There are some residences with a Newport zip code in our coverage area, for example; Pine Needle Drive.
For those or anyone that is interested, we will have Membership forms available at the Millerstown Post Office and at Juniata Valley Bank in Millerstown. We will also put a printable membership on our website, www.mfd7.com
