Saturday August 9th the EMT Class hosted by EHSF for Rural EMS agencies held an 6 hour practical practice sessions for the students.
Agencies volunteered their units for "transport to medical facilities". Students practiced real life situations from falls and falls from a roof to chest pain to motorcycle accidents.
Instructors come from all over Perry County to teach them what they need to know to help a person in need.

Millerstown Fire Department has four firefighters taking the EMT course. Steele Burchell, Kameron Burch, John Matter, Braydon Little.

A late evening call that involved an individual with an emergency situation that turned into a police matter was posted on social media.
Individuals who listen to 911 calls and do social media posts about them should know facts before doing so.
Stop and think about something, if this was an emergency call involving you or your family, would you really like someone posting your situation on social media?
It is not necessary to sit and listen to every 911 call and post it on FB. These are emergency situations that ambulance, fire, law enforcement and dispatchers are dealing with and seeing false information or rude comments posted on FB is not necessary.
Please think about posting FB posts because someday a situation could involve you or a family member.

GROCERY AUCTION'S are back for 2025!

Ok folks, gather all your family and friends the Grocery Auction is back!
Please join us for a fun filled night at the Millerstown Fire Department on March 14th at 6pm with Mega Dealz. Lots of hot deals to save you money including snack foods, frozen foods, meats, drinks and much more.
Marty will be in the house with all kinds of good stuff, household items, toys and a variety of other items.
Our doors and kitchen opens at 5pm for some good eats! We have some new items on the menu for this year!!
Come hungry and have dinner, bring your family, friends and your coolers!

Our 2025 Ambulance memberships are in the mail.
The memberships are mailed in the 17062 area which is most of our coverage area. There are some residents that are not in the 17062 area that is in our coverage area, you will not receive them in the mail so there will be extra memberships placed in the Millerstown Post office, JVB in Millerstown and Bark of The Town.
Please mail them back to the Millerstown Ambulance League.

Folks don't forget to get your Millerstown Ambulance memberships for 2024. If you haven't received one in the mail, you can pick one up at the Millerstown Post Office, Millerstown Borough Office or Bark of the Town.
