🚒 For years, many of the Rochester Volunteer Fire Department’s newer members had to make do with hand-me-down turnout gear - sometimes worn, outdated, and marked with another firefighter’s name.

Thanks to a grant from the Gary Sinise Foundation, every RVFD member now has up-to-date turnout gear, base radios, and helmet lights. Not only does this boost safety, it also builds morale and helps these dedicated volunteers feel a true sense of belonging.

We’re proud to stand with the men and women of RVFD as they serve their community. ❤️

One of our new gueasts pulled a surprise on us! She owns a art n craft company, of sorts. So she decided to do a fundraiser at a craft fair. As they entered our Blum's Landing door, they presented a physically huge check to us. We had to remind her, the stay was free; but we 'LOVED" the thoughtfulness. So, for you craft show nuts that love, love, love to view and buy unique goods..... look for Honey and Joon (named after her grandparents!! Isn't that just the sweetest thing🥰) Oh! by the way , Janelle makes lovely camo headbands,

A few weeks ago we enjoyed the company of new and old friends at the Detroit Hot Rod Show! The day weather wise was picture perfect. There even was a fly over by a B-25!!
