Thank you Millersburg Lions Club! It was a super hot day, but you guys showed up, worked hard, and got all of our Hometown Hero Banners hung up around town. Thank you for sacrificing your Sunday for our veterans!! โค๏ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Memorial Day is right around the corner, and we are excited to see our hometown heroes honored again this year! If you know a Lion, thank them for all of their hard work in making this display happen!! It would not be possible without their continuous support of our veterans and our community as a whole! โค๏ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Millersburg Lions Club

Despite there being frauds out there trying to profit off our veterans and their loved ones, we want to share that the fundraising effort in Killbuck this weekend IS LEGIT. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ However, to be clear, the softball tournament is sponsored by and supports the Killbuck Hometown Heroes Program, not the Holmes County Hometown Heroes Program.

The tournament is being held August 19th in Killbuck - so PLEASE show up and show your support! For more information, please contact fellow veteran JR at (330)275-0317.

Good afternoon! I wanted to address some local fundraisers that are popping up around the area for veteran banners. Please know that these fundraisers have not been arranged nor sanctioned by the Holmes County Hometown Heroes Program. While they may be a legitimate way to raise funds and support our veterans (I truly hope they are well-intentioned, but we received information that leads us to believe some are not), you never know, and I caution you to be fully aware of who you donate your money to. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

HUGE shoutout to the Millersburg Lions Club for their dedication to our community and our veterans! They sacrificed their Sunday afternoon to make sure all of our Holmes County Hometown Hero banners (67 of them!) got hung!

P.S. If you have a heart for serving your community (and having a lot of fun doing so), the Lions Club is always looking for new members - come join us!!

Anyone else getting excited to see this yearโ€™s Hometown Hero display? The banners will be going up soon! We are excited to announce that Killbuck has started their own Hometown Hero Program and will have their first display this year! The Holmes County Hometown Heroes program continues to grow, and we support and encourage individual villages that want to join in honoring our veterans! ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Millersburg Lions Club
