Millersburg Memorial Day
Parade Activities
In 2015 there was a revitalization committee formed along with the Blaine G. Day American Legion Post #326, to restore the Millersburg Memorial Day Parade to the celebration that it had been in years past. The revitalization was a vision of Lou Jane Miller who reflected often on the days when the Millersburg Memorial Day Parade was a major event, bringin

g the community together in a Spirit of Patriotism, Pride, and Love for one another. Walter, was an early military casualty of World War II. He died at the Battle of Guadalcanal and the local VFW post is named in his honor. In 2014 on Memorial Day, Lou Jane was laid to rest. The Veteran Banner Program is the newest addition to her vision. A means to singularly identify and honor some of our local men and women who served, or now serve from our own hometown. The Millersburg Memorial Day Parade & Veteran Banner Committee.
