A little kindness goes a long way. ✨🍩
(Shared Via Reddit)

We were sitting in the Dunkin’ drive-thru around 6:30 this evening.
The young lady at the window seemed exhausted and frazzled. My youngest son looked at me and said, “Mom, will you tell her I love her?” 🥺

So, I passed on his message: “My 4-year-old asked me to let you know that he loves you.”

Instantly, everything in her softened. Her shoulders. Her hands. Her jaw. She took a deep breath, and with the biggest smile, she slid a box of 10 chocolate Munchkins into my hand that we hadn’t ordered. I told her thank you and that it wasn’t necessary. She just smiled and said, “No, it was. He knew I needed that today.” ❤️

She asked me to pull up to the next window. When the next young woman came up with my drink, my son asked, “Will you tell her I love her too?!” Again, I passed on his message. Her entire face lit up and she said, “Well, I love him more!” 🥰

She asked, “Can they have donuts?” I laughed and let her know we already got some at the last window. She asked if they could have more. Of course, they wanted another 10 Munchkins, lol! We were headed to the park where we could share, so I said yes.

You guys... she came back with an ENTIRE box of a dozen donuts! 🍩🍩🍩

With a ton of free donuts in hand, we were able to share with even more kids at the playground and make countless days brighter. ☀️

Be kind. Spread joy. It’s not that hard. And you never know who needs it. ❤

Today we remember Myles and the beautiful joy, love, and light he shared with everyone lucky enough to know him.
Myles was a beacon of light. He loved the outdoors and anything to do with animals. He was such a kind, sweet soul. He made an impact on anyone he met.

A message from his family:

"It can happen so fast and it can happen to anyone. I never thought this would happen to us. Please educate yourselves and family on drowning prevention."
As part of our Little Angels program, Myles’ name was engraved onto one of our pool fence poles — a heartfelt way to honor his memory while continuing to spread awareness and protection for other families. 🤍
Please share this message to keep Myle’s memory alive and join us in sending strength and love to the Pope family.

Today we honor the memory of Judah Levi Brown, a sweet little boy whose joyful spirit and endless curiosity brought smiles to everyone around him.
Judah loved water, Paw Patrol, running around, and wrestling with his siblings and friends. He was a curious boy who wanted to know everything about anything. He is cherished, loved, and never forgotten.

A message from his family:

"Drowning is fast and silent. My child was in the water for 2 minutes and didn't survive. Using flotation devices all the time in pools can make kids think they can swim when they really can't. Make sure your child knows what their own body can and can't do in the water without the aid of flotation. They need to know so that they develop a respect for the water and don't try to get back into it without you and without their device."

As part of the Little Angels Program this year, Judah’s name will appear on a dedicated tribute page inside A Little Rees Specht For Water Safety coloring book — a heartfelt way to remember him and continue sharing the importance of water safety. 🤍

Please share this message to keep Judah's memory alive and join us in sending strength and love to the Brown family.

More Than Just a Cup of Coffee☕
(Source via Reddit)

I’ve worked in retail for 8 years. I’ve been screamed at, insulted, and even had drinks thrown at me. But an interaction I had yesterday reminded me exactly why I still try to choose patience.

An elderly woman came into the coffee shop, clearly confused by the menu and overwhelmed by the growing line behind her. People were sighing, checking their phones—the usual impatient morning crowd.

Instead of rushing her, I stepped out from behind the register. I walked her through the menu slowly, explained the sizes, and made sure she got exactly what she wanted. It took maybe 4 extra minutes total.

At the end of my shift, a man approached me. He explained that he was her son and had been parked outside, watching the whole thing through the window.

"I saw how you treated my mom. Everyone else was annoyed, but you made her feel like she mattered. She has dementia. Going out alone is hard for her, but she insists on it because she doesn't want to feel helpless."

Then, he handed me $200 in cash. He told me it was for being kind when I didn't have to be, and insisted I keep it all. I tried to refuse, but he wouldn't take it back.

It’s so easy to get caught up in the rush of our own days and the stress of the line. But this was a powerful reminder: You never know what someone is going through. And you never know who is watching.

Take those extra 4 minutes ❤

Today we remember Ethan Roussell and the light, love, and happiness he brought to so many lives.

Every year, on his birthday, his family and friends gather to celebrate him with an ice cream party. He loved bananas, pizza, and his giant stuffed dinosaur.

A message from his family:

“Get your little ones in survival swimming lessons; give them the tools they need to be safe in the water. I chose to put Ethan in flotation devices instead of giving him the tools he needed to float in the water himself, and I will forever regret that decision. I share his story in hopes that I can prevent a parent from feeling the way I do.”

This year, Ethan is being remembered on the tribute page inside A Little Rees Specht For Water Safety coloring book — helping honor his life while encouraging conversations around water safety and protection for other little ones. 🤍

Please share this message to keep Ethan’s memory alive and join us in sending strength and love to the Roussell family.

A little help goes a long way. 🛠️(Shared via Reddit)

I scored a free router table on FB Marketplace yesterday for my growing little garage workshop. I drove over after work to pick it up, and let’s just say... it definitely looked smaller in the pictures!

The guy giving it away didn't offer a hand, and I already had a small cabinet from work taking up space in the back of my Forester. I suddenly wasn't sure if I could fit both. To make matters worse, this thing was HEAVY. I'm pretty strong, but being on the shorter side made figuring out how to lift this giant table a real challenge.

Just as I was pulled over on the side of the street trying to assess the situation, a young couple walking by got my attention. They saw me trying to figure out the physics of getting this beast into my car, actually turned around, and offered to help!

It took all three of us, but we managed to cram it in there in less than 5 minutes. They were so sweet to take time out of their walk just to help a complete stranger. I am honestly just blown away by people's kindness sometimes.

A huge thank you to that couple—you really made my day! 🚗
