16 years ago today America lost one of her sons. I got up today knowing the grave and grim reality of its meaning. However… my coping mechanism is to dig in… to use grief as fuel to create a better today for tomorrow. But as life has it… the storm clouds always roll in. Sometimes they sit with us for a a bit longer than we like. The lesson in all of this is that, we have to sit… we must reflect. Today on the 16th anniversary of his passing. I look back and see all the amazing things that have been done in his name. All the veterans, families and community members that have been inspired by this great work. My personal journey from despair… to keep his legacy alive along with all the May veterans who have made the ultimate sacrifice… i have become a servant to them. Paying it forward everyday. Folks don’t understand where I get the energy to keep going everyday. It’s the Ranger in me. I live each day with purpose because my Ranger Buddies like Kyle Comfort would do the same. If you can take a moment of silence with me before heading into a new day. To thank our troops who put everything on the line so we can enjoy our freedoms. Kyle was a Son, a Husband, A father and a friend. Thanks to all of you who continue to support this work. It’s because of you that I’m able to help many veterans find their purpose and become successful. 🙏🏾❤️
