Wednesday, October 7, 2026 was our regular Millbrae Lions General Meeting date for dinner, BUT there was an unexpected change in location: Our traditional venue of Green Hills Country Club informed us they had a last minute conflicting event, so in-turn our President and powers that be with the MLC were able to re-arrange our dinner meeting at the Sixteen Mile House. Notes, emails and info went out hours before the meeting noting the change. All in all it worked out wonderfully and those who RSVPed were informed and arrived at the Sixteen Mile House successfully.
The meeting was called to order by Lion President John Hippley at approximately 7pm. After the pledge of allegiance, song by Lion PP’s Randy Sahae and Lynn Clinton, and invocation by Lion PP John Muniz (in place of absent Lion PP Rich Bortolin), pre-dinner socializing and frivolity commenced. After a nicely prepared meal choice of hamburger, steak or chicken sandwiches, a number of reports were given. Raffle prize tickets were called out by Lion Betcy Jacob. With all agenda items wrapped up the meeting concluded with more socializing. Thanks to all who made this meeting happen and all who attended. From Lion PP Paul Larson.
