Today was the first meeting of the Bath County high school fire and rescue club. We had a great turnout for the presentation by the US forest service.
They discussed careers in wildland firefighting as well as forestry. They also brought along their type six apparatus for a demonstration.
We had more than 30 people in attendance.
It was a great way to start off the school year!
