A chance to do something for the environment: come join us at Bothin Marsh, starting at the end of Sycamore Avenue, with new friends from Oceanic Global to rid the water's edge of plastic and litter. This is the site of the old dam out at the end of Cascade Ave. It will be the site of a work party September 2. Come join us if you enjoy satisfying w**ding of invasive plants. This is a non native Sedge called Carex pendula or hanging Sedge.
Bring shovels and boots!

Glad to see this invasive w**d, Carex pendula, lying by the road on Cascade Avenue. Note that the roots are not huge.
