We are honored to invite you to an intimate evening with Quanuquanei Karmue, author of Witness: A Civil War Through The Eyes of A Child and founder of Panta Pride.

Karmue will share his powerful story of resilience and discuss his vital work in Liberia, where Panta Pride is transforming local agricultural potential into an engine for climate-resilient development and food security.

A double major in Mathematics and Economics, Vanika has made an incredible impact on campus as an economics research assistant, peer orientation leader, and a 24-hour hack-a-thon winner. Back home, she ran vital workshops fighting cyberbullying and volunteered at a women’s crisis center. Her next big step? Back home in Liberia, she is already running her own youth non-profit (We Can Liberia), building crucial sanitation infrastructure, and funding student scholarships. She steps off campus today with a vision to transform global healthcare and public policy.
