Huge congratulations to SHE-CAN Scholar Mouykea Dy on starting her first week as a Project Management Intern with UNOPS (United Nations Office for Project Services) in New York City! π½β¨
In this role, Mouykea will be working within the Development and Special Initiatives Portfolio (DSIP), directly supporting impactful projects that advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). From data analysis and strategic monitoring to global stakeholder coordination, we know her leadership, dedication, and passion will shine through.
π Opportunities like this are made possible because of our community. Many life-changing internships in the international development space are unpaid or cost-prohibitive. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, SHE-CAN is able to cover vital costs (travel, housing, and daily living expenses) ensuring our scholars can step into these high-impact global roles without financial barriers.
We are incredibly proud to see our scholars taking on pivotal roles on the global stage. Join us in wishing her the absolute best of luck in her first week and throughout her internship!
π While many students take a break, SHE-CAN scholars are preparing for college, launching community projects, and gaining real-world experience that will shape their futures, and the futures of their home countries. Your support makes it all possible, and every contribution counts. https://bit.ly/4xpsKpJ
