Attendees had a great time and learned about our program.

Three years ago there were 18 matches in Polk and Rutherford County. There are now over 60 matches, programs in 8 schools, including the High School Bigs program, and soon there will be Group programming in 5 schools across Polk and Rutherford!

We are at Isothermal Community College in Spindale for Big Blue Welcome Campus and Community Resource Fair! Can’t wait to meet all the students and staff and recruit volunteers for our different programs. Come say hi and learn how to get involved!

A HUGE thank you and shout-out to Rutherford Food Art & Brew for highlighting and fundraising for our program in Rutherford County.

Donated supplies/gift cards go to our families who need school supplies and clothing this year and our "crafts and activities" boxes at schools- these are used by our Bigs/Littles to spend time together and in activities we do with our groups. These activities are meant to build relationships, encourage mental health literacy, teach skills, and be FUN!

Come by and say hi! We'd love to talk with you about all the wonderful things we have planned for this next year. We also encourage you to check out all of the wonderful local artists and restaurants/breweries that our community has to offer.

This August Friday Night FAB, through our FAB Cares Initiative we have two amazing opportunities as a Community to help those in need. We will be holding both a Blood Drive as well as a Fundraiser/Donation Drive for BBBS of WNC - Polk & Rutherford Counties! Both amazing opportunities to show just how formidable and kind our community really is!!

**Additionally, we will be holding a raffle fundraiser. Winner to be selected at the end of the night for a crazy awesome gift basket!!
