Week Four: Emergency Kits & Household Supplies 🧰❄️
Winter storms love showing up when you’re cozy and unprepared—so let’s fix that!

👉 Restock those 72-hour kits for each family member (snacks, meds, flashlights, batteries… and maybe a morale-boosting chocolate bar).
👉 Keep 3–5 days of non-perishable food and water on hand—because snowed-in shouldn’t mean starving.
👉 Make sure backup heat sources (propane, wood, etc.) are stored safely and in good supply. Frozen toes are not the vibe.

Week Three: Vehicle Safety 🚗❄️
Winter driving = unpredictable. Make sure your car is ready before the roads turn into an ice rink!

👉 Pack your winter kit:
• blankets
• ice scraper
• jumper cables
• tire chains (if needed)
• a small shovel
• snacks & water (because hangry + snow = nope)

👉 And keep at least half a tank of gas—you don’t want to be bonding with your dashboard heater during a power outage or traffic jam.

Week Two: Farm & Livestock Readiness 🐄❄️
Winter doesn’t just hit us—our animals feel it too! Make sure your barnyard is ready before the snow starts bossing everyone around.

👉 Keep hay & feed stocked with a solid 2–3 week buffer. Storms love showing up uninvited.
👉 Check water heaters & trough warmers so your animals don’t end up sipping ice cubes.
👉 Deep-clean barns and coops now—because pests treat winter like an Airbnb.
👉 Have emergency shelter plans ready for young, elderly, or pregnant livestock.

Your animals will thank you… probably. 🐐😂
