Mill Creek Lions Club

Mill Creek Lions Club The Mill Creek Lions club is part of the world’s largest service organization, with 1.4 million members in 210 countries. Where there’s a need, there’s a Lion.

Located in and around Mill Creek, Washington, with 40+ members the Mill Creek Lions Club serves the community through various projects such as Blood Drives, Movies in the Park, our annual Craft Bazaar, eye glasses & hearing aids & much more! The primary mission of Lions clubs worldwide is to provide services for the blind, the deaf, and people with diabetes. Lions Clubs International also provides

disaster relief and funded new firefighting equipment following the Oso landslide. The Mill Creek Lions club contributes to this mission locally by providing free health screenings, financing glasses and hearing aids, and contributing to Camp Leo, a camp for children with type 1 diabetes. We also engage in many projects with the Mill Creek and Snohomish County Parks Departments. The club serves the Mill Creek and Maltby food banks with regular donations. The club also contributed to Beautiful Soles’ efforts by organizing a shoe drive and funding a shoe closet, to ensure that local homeless youth have socks and shoes to keep them dry and warm. The Lions Club is currently collecting funds to support the Jackson High School Music Program. The goal is to provide them with $5000 so that they can purchase a new concert tuba, that could impact students in the program for decades to come. Unlike many other charitable organizations, 100% of donations received are placed back into the community. The Mill Creek Lions club meets the first and third Monday of every month in the downstairs banquet room at Shawn O’Donnell’s American Grill and Irish Pub in Everett at 7pm (6:30 for dinner). We serve!

Good Morning Awesome Community!

Last night we were at the food bank helping out & you guys, THEY RAN OUT OF FOOD.

The food bank, RAN OUT of food. They had to turn people away. I just cannot even fathom this. So many in our community in need, just heartbreaking.

They also need volunteers. I'll link the site to sign up in the comments if you'd like to help out.

It is have you thought about who to give to? Did you know that Corneal tissue transplants are one of the services Lions Clubs partner with NW Lions Foundation to address visual impairment?

Lion Carol Robinson’s family was comforted by the experience of donating their father’s corneal tissue knowing how this would have pleased his service-mindedness.
