Thank you to everyone who donated to the Mililani/Mililani Mauka Neighborhood Board Donation Drive for those in our neighboring communities suffering after last months devastating floods. A special thank you to the 36 amazing volunteers who came to take donations, sort them, and load them onto the trucks taking the food, water, and all the essentials to the different neighborhoods in need! Go Trojans!

We’ve received many questions about the temporary use of Central Oʻahu Regional Park for debris from the devastating Kona Low flooding in Waialua and the North Shore.

Mahalo to the City & County of Honolulu Department of Environmental Services for quickly engaging with our Mililani, Waipiʻo Gentry, and Waikele communities and joining last night’s Mililani-Waipio-Melemanu Neighborhood Board meeting to provide answers.

Here’s a brief summary and FAQ flyer.

We know how devastating this has been for Waialua and Haleʻiwa, these materials reflect what families have lost in their homes. We understand the urgency to clear them, and we’re encouraged the City is working to remove them thoughtfully while protecting Central Oʻahu Regional Park.

Mililani & Central Oʻahu, let’s kōkua!

So many Central Oʻahu residents have been driving back and forth to the North Shore, bringing supplies, donations, and support to help with recovery from the devastating floods in Waialua and Haleʻiwa.

The Mililani Neighborhood Board, in partnership with the Mililani Mauka–Launani Valley Neighborhood Board, Mililani High School, and the Mililani Lions Club are hosting a Donation Drop-Off for North Shore recovery to make it easier to give:

📅 Friday, April 3
⏰ 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
📍 Mililani High School (Lower Campus & Gym)

All donations will be delivered directly to the Waialua Resilience Hub.
🚫 No monetary donations—please see flyer for requested donation items.
