Wednesday's WHY with Sherry Zylka! Thank you for all you do as a Rotarian.

06/09/2026

We meet one time a week, Thursdays 12pm, at Baker's of Milford.

Some of our meetings we have speakers from outside groups are organizations to educate, encourage and bring awareness to their subject matter. Other meetings are more fellowship based or our "business" meeting.

No matter what type of meeting we have, our focus remains steadfast. Fellowship, service about self, and what can we do to make this world a better place.

Want to be a part of something that's amazing? We invite you to join us.

At this week's Rotary Meeting, we are excited to host Cindy Miller who will be speaking about Bridging the Generational Gap. Come join us at Baker's of Milford at 11:45 for fun conversation before the meeting starts at noon.

Cindy is an award-winning leadership consultant and trainer who helps people build the confidence to have the right conversations with the right peopleโ€”so work becomes more productive, more human, and a lot more enjoyable. Sheโ€™s an Executive Director with the Maxwell Leadership Team, licensed to teach John Maxwellโ€™s award-winning leadership content, and has facilitated a leadership program recognized with a Brandon Hall Group Silver Award.

Married with two adult children, Cindy prefers real books over Kindles, believes chocolate deserves its own food group, and is committed to leaving people more confident, capable, and inspired than they were before working with her.

Join us for inspirational conversation and fellowship with an amazing group of Rotarians.

The Milford Rotary Community Garden is back for another growing season, and we'reK9 excited to get our hands in the dirt once again! Throughout the summer, our dedicated Rotarians will be planting, tending, and harvesting fresh produce that will be donated to Community Sharing, helping local families in need enjoy healthy, nutritious food.

This garden is more than just vegetables9pmโ€”it's a testament to what can happen when a community comes together to serve others. We can't wait to watch it grow and make a difference, one harvest at a time.
Thank you to all of our volunteers who help make this project possible. Stay tuned for updates throughout the season as we share our progress from seed to harvest!

A HUGE congratulations to our Christin Bracken on receiving the prestigious
Sylvia Whitlock Leadership Award! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ‘

About:
The Sylvia Whitlock Leadership Award honors one Rotary member each year who has actively worked to advance women in Rotary. It is named for the first female Rotary club president, who went on to lead change for women around the world through Rotary.

A group of Rotarians established the award in 2017. The Rotary International Board of Directors decided in 2021 to make it an official RI award to support the goal of increasing the number of women in Rotary, particularly in leadership positions.

All of your extraordinary contributions to our club, district and globally has made you the best choice for this award! Congratulations!!!
