Amelie and I are making Lava Bead scented bracelets and necklaces now. We put essential oils on the lava beads and the scent (of your choice) stays with you all day up to 2 or 3.
Natural wood beads, plastic beads, natural stone and lava beads combine to make one of a kind jewelry custom made for you. Comes with a dropper bottle with you scent, so you can refresh as needed.

Amelie and I are very excited about our new jewelry box, catch all boxes. They are super cute and just the right size for any desk or side table. WE'll make them in any color, solid, clear, lightly tinted, the "lid handle" can be any shape or color too. Crafting together is so much fun and a great bonding experience.

Humble Beginning

I am the 62-year-old grandmother to 7-year-old Amelie. Since she was very little I have been teaching her new skills, science projects, sewing, painting, “Claying” - building things with clay, and making knit caps.

She chose the name Yia Yia and Amelie for our new endeavor and wrote our slogan “We hope this keeps you warm just like it warmed our hearts making it for you.”

Amelie can only handle single strands of yarn, while Yia Yia likes to make the thicker hats using one normal skein of yarn and one thick skein. The overall cost can be up to $15 each, but we are only charging $12 for adult hats, $8 for childrens’ and $4 for infants.

We will donate 25% from each sale to a local charity and Amelie’s portion of the profits will go to her college fund. The remainder will go toward purchasing more yarn for future inventory.
