We encourage everyone in the district to follow the new ESD page for the latest information, updates, and activities happening throughout the district.

The page will be a great way to stay informed about district news, community events, meetings, projects, and other important information.

Did you know being a volunteer fire fighter isn’t always about fighting fires?

The majority of our calls are medical calls where we assist EMS with patient care or manpower.

Even if you can’t run into a fire, there is a spot for you at Milford VFD. A simple task such as walking the field to clear debris before a helicopter lands can be a great help!

We need help in all areas of the department!

Join us at our next meeting on September 28, 2026 at 6 pm to find your spot to serve!

This morning at approximately 8:10 a.m., the Milford Volunteer Fire Department was toned out for a vehicle fire in the 300 block of Maxine Ct in the Milford Farms housing addition.

Firefighters responded and extinguished the fire safely. We appreciate the community’s cooperation and remind motorists to use caution near emergency scenes.

🚒 Training Night at Milford Volunteer Fire Department! 🚒

Tonight, your Milford Fire Department had the opportunity to train with our new extrication tools!

These tools were made possible through a grant from the Texas A&M Forest Service, along with the support of our ESD Board.

A special thank you to Tow Pro Wrecker Service for donating their facility and vehicles for us to practice with. Having a safe place and real vehicles to train on is invaluable to our department and our community.

We also want to take a moment to recognize Eric Haake for donating his time and expertise to train our firefighters, while also serving on our ESD Board. We truly appreciate everything you do for our department and community!

Opportunities like this are made possible because of the continued support of our community. Whether you’re donating, volunteering, or simply encouraging your firefighters — we appreciate you all more than you know. 🇺🇸

Thank you for supporting Milford Volunteer Fire Department! ❤️🚒
