SonLight Power Solar Energy For Good | Using solar power to share God's love with children, families and communities We invite you to let your light shine.

Our Mission: SonLight Power uses solar power to share God's love with the world's most vulnerable children, families and communities. Our Vision: To be a life-changing organization, transforming lives through the sustainable power of the Son/sun. Our Welcome to You: We understand there are many of all faiths and of no faith who feel just as passionately as we do about improving the lives of vulnerable children, families and communities. Working together enriches all of us. Solving the issues of energy poverty affecting nearly 1.4 billion people worldwide requires a movement of people on a grand scale. So whoever you are, whatever you do, whatever you believe - if you agree that energy poverty is unacceptable, we welcome you to join us and shine your light with the world.

Sometimes the work continues long after the project is finished. ☀️💛

Earlier this year, we equipped House of Hope Ministries in Guatemala with solar power—helping reduce energy costs so more resources can go where they matter most: caring for vulnerable children.

This is why we do what we do. We equip organizations already doing incredible work, so their impact can reach even further.

The panels are installed. The mission continues. And so does the light. ✨

What happens when YOU say yes? 🙌🏽

You climb mountains. You face rain, mud, unexpected roads, and obstacles you never saw coming.

But you keep going—with joy—because your YES means something.

It can mean electricity for a child. Hope for a family. A community reminded they are seen and not forgotten.

The road isn’t always easy, but God is with us on the journey.

So, what could your YES make possible?

Reliable, affordable electricity can save lives. This recent SonLight Power project in Togo, West Africa shows how.

Today we celebrate Kevin Sasson, SonLight Power’s Executive Director — and the kind of leader he is.

Kevin leads with humility, generosity, compassion, and a genuine love for people. He shows up, serves well, and never loses sight of the people behind the mission.

We’re grateful for the heart, dedication, and care he brings to SonLight Power every day.

Happy Birthday, Kevin! 🎉☀️🥳

This is what generational impact looks like. ❤️

Juan Pablo Gale Reyes has been serving alongside SonLight Power since he was just seven years old. The son of our longtime Honduran leaders, Sara Reyes and Miguel Antonio Gale, he has grown up watching his family make this mission their own.

Now 17, Juan Pablo is not simply helping—he’s leading. Through the years, he has learned solar installation while developing resourcefulness, initiative, accountability, and leadership.

This is more than multigenerational service. It’s local ownership. It’s knowledge being passed down. It’s a new generation being equipped to serve their own communities.

And that kind of impact lasts far beyond one solar installation.

Thank you to everyone whose generosity makes this kind of lasting, generational impact possible.

It all starts with connection. 💛🌍

Connection brings together the electricians, engineers, volunteers, and partners who say YES—and together, those connections bring light, hope, and life to communities around the world.

These 300+ solar panels at Hôpital Baptiste Biblique in Togo represent so much more than electricity. They mean doctors can provide care, children can receive treatment, and lives can be saved.

This year, those connections have taken SonLight Power to Liberia, Guatemala, Togo, Honduras, and Mexico.

To every SonLight Power volunteer, donor, and partner who makes this possible: thank you. We couldn’t do this without you. ☀️
